That's right, break out your best Sunday dresses and show off those legs for charity.  We are bringing the glorious hash tradition of the Red Dress Run to Macau and hashing through the streets and the pubs all in the name of charity (and the hash of course!) with plenty of golden nectar all around!

If your liver still hasn't had enough or you just haven't sobered up enough to stomach the ferry trip back home, stick around and come on hash #501 to sweat that Tsingtao out (and get a few more in you).  The hare promises he'll be gentle...

Bonus for the lads, if you are still around and haven't had enough, the other Macau hash, the Macau Mens Hash (MMH3), will be running this evening.

Getting Here:

For those local area hashers, the Busses into Zhuhai, walk across the border, and then grab a taxi or free casino bus ride (Guangzhou, Mainland hashes)

Or the Turbojet, FirstFerry, or Cotai Strip ferries (Hong Kong, Shekou/Shenzen) are of course your friends here

For those from further abroad, check out the local airlines for the best rates coming in such as:

Tiger Air:  http://www.tigerairways.com
Air Asia:   http://www.airasia.com
Air Macau:  http://www.airmacau.com.mo
EVA Air:    http://www.evaair.com.tw
Viva Macau:

Not finding anything you like?
Here's the list of all carriers that fly into Macau

(also don't forget to check Hong Kong Airport, it's only a 45min Ferry ride away!)

Places to Stay:

We do have one or two casino resorts here in Macau, so if you are looking to live it up, all the major resorts currently have availability

(Venetian, Wynn, MGM, Sands, Crown).

However there are several other area hotels that are cheaper if you search around.

The Recommended Hash Hotel is the Taipa Square Hotel, it is a 90 second walk/crawl to the Irish Bar and a good balance of decent safe/celan hotel and still affordable.  (It's good enough we'd put up our own mother in laws there)

Here's a link for more information and booking

May we also recommend the Pousada De Coloane, it's the antithesis of those casino resorts and while located out of the way at the southern tip of Coloane, a quite nice place that we usually recommend to visiting hashers, check them out below. (note that you will need to take a taxi or bus to get up to the Irish Bar for Fri & Sun's run, taxi should cost ~60MOP each way):

(heck you might just see some of our 500 activities near there! *hint* *hint*)

TMH3's Hashtory

Born on June 10, 1998, the Taipa Macau Hash has finally reached the milestone of 500 hashes with the help of endless cans of TsingTao and a magic mixture of blood, sweat, and beers.

We'd love to have you out with us on a great weekend to help celebrate this coming of age.

The Taipa Macau Hash (TMH3) was founded in 1998 just years after the disapperance of the Macau Hash (MH3).  While the exact history of the MH3 has been lost to the annals of history, we do have one current TMH3 hasher, Rebecca who was a member of the MH3 and when asked about the period of time before the founding of the TMH3, she could only shake her head and mutter "oh the sobriety...the horror, the horror".

The TMH3 runs every Saturday* afternoon as well as special T8 hashes during Typhoon season and the occasional odd hash here and there whenever the whim or occasion strikes.

(*occasionally shifting to a Sunday to enable us to partake in other area hashes)

Today, the TMH3 is a terrific mixture of people here in Macau and has a little bit of everything, we got:

-Rambos & Wimps
-Racers & Strollers
-The Hopelessly Lost & SCBs
-2-legged & 4-pawed
-Amblers & Ramblers

And who do we have to blame for the past 10 years?  One would have to point to our:

TMH3 Grand Master Hall of Shame

Father of the TMH3 - The Captain

1998 - The Captain
1999 - Kenetic Ken
2000 - Glennfiddich
2001 - Glennfiddich
2002 - Glennfiddich
2003 - Bolton Bollocks
2004 - Bolton Bollocks
2005 - Roger & Out
2006 - St Peter
2007 - Nasiturd
2008 - Betty / Pubic Plucker
